Current Needs

Steinbach Community Outreach regularly supplies those in need with clothing, food, and shelter.

Our most common needs are:
  • Toilet Paper
  • Shampoo
  • Bars of soap
  • Dish washing soap
  • Laundry soap
  • Toothbrushes or Toothpaste
  • Deodorant
  • Waterproof winter mitts
  • Winter Parkas and Boots
  • Runners
  • Non-perishable Food
  • Perishable food donations are accepted and encouraged but must be brought upstairs between 9am and 4pm.

Any donations can be brought to the blue Outreach doors or can be left in the bin beside our doors anytime.  Please call 204-380-2692 if you have any questions about donations.

Just a Little History

Steinbach Community Outreach started in the corner of a classroom while Irene Kroeker was teaching alt ed at SRSS. 
SCO moved out of the corner of a classroom and officially opened its door in a public space on February 15, 2009.
​SCO was incorporated in 2016 and granted CRA status on August 18, 2017.
​Today House merged with SCO September 2020.
